Easy and affordable cards

Good evening dear  Friends
Made some easy cards and thought of sharing them.

Materials
Washi tape
Card Stock
Sentiment strips

Method
Easy peasy. Take the card stock and paste the washi tape. [I had some washi tape at home and i didnt know what to do with them. This was the ideal way to use it. Earlier i thought i will never ever buy washi tape again. These cards have changed my mind about buying washi tape.] Pasted the sentiments on two cards and stamped the happy birthday using a stamp. Quick and easy card ready in minutes.

Cats galore

Dear Friends
A very good morning to all of you

This is a card i made for My Favourite Things  Wednesday Sketch Challenge

Materials
Cardstock white and yellow
Washi Tape
Watercolor pencils
Mini Misti

Method
I took a piece of cardstock and folded it in half.  I pasted three pieces of washi tape to add bling to the card. Then i took a yellow piece of cardstock and stamped the Cozy cat cubbies stamp set which was a gift i won from the Cat Hop,using the Mini Misti. Stamping is a real joy with the Misti as you can position your stamps where you want and if the ink is light you can stamp again.[This was a gift from talented designer and my dearest friend Melanie Muenchinger]. I initially stamped using a black ink which is very light.  I colored the stamps using Colleen watercolor pencils[ the colors are nice but sharpening them is a nightmare.]
I stamped the sentiment to a piece of yellow card stock and adhered it to the card using foam squares.

Masculine Card

Dear Friends
Good afternoon.
This is a masculine card.
Materials
Cardstock
Pattern Paper
Sentiment
Ink

Method
Take a piece of cardstock and fold it in half as the base.Take another piece of cardstock about 1/4 inch lesser than the base and paste a pattern paper onto it. Stamp a sentiment and paster it in the middle of the pattern paper. Now adhere that to the base card. I didnt add anything to bling the card as it is a masculine card.

House keeping ideas
Never ink a sentiment direct to a card unless  tested  on a piece of scrap paper. (my scrap papers are offcuts of paper clipped together.)
Keep a bottle of water and rinse the stamps as soon as you use them.
Keep bits and pieces of cardstock and they are useful to stamp the sentiments. (My cardstock pieces are pinned on a clip.)

Have a blessed day

For the inside also take a piece of card stock measuring 3 by 4 and decorate.

This is the inside panel.

Happy Pawsome Birthday

Dear All
This is my first blog post for the year. Sorry about it.

This is a Birthday day card for a cat lover and my dearest friend.
Method
Cut a square measuring 5 1/2 inches by 9 inches. As i did not have designer papers I cut a square out of card stock and a square out of pattern paper and adhered them together. Then i scored it at 3 inches and 6 inches. After that on the left hand side mark 4 inches and join that at nine inches.snip off the top part. after that fold and crease at the 3 and 6 inches.
Then it is decorating time.
I stamped the sentiment Happy Pawsome Birthday [ The cozy cat cubbies stamp and die set by Art Impressions. It was a gift i won at the Cat Hop organised by Janice. Thank you Janice and Art Impressions.]

on a piece of card stock and adhered using double sided foam squares to give it dimension. Inside on the first panel i took another cat stamp colured and cut it and adhered a butterfly on foam squares for dimension.
I left the second panel empty to write a message. The third panel i stamped using my Misti stamping tool. [It is also a gift from one of the talented designers. Thank You so much] Stamping is a breeze with the misti. I attached two cats and a butterfly using foam squares for dimension.
This is my simple card which i learnt from Lisa Curcio.Thank you Lisa.
Housekeeping hints
Clean your stamps as you use them.
Dont ever keep your ink pads open as it can ruin the card by accident.

Have a wonderful day
