Dear Friends
May Your day be filled with Blessings from the Lord.
Method
I took a piece of cardstock and stamped an image of a princess and colored it using Colleen Watercolor Pencils and then i stamped the cat image and colored that too. The sentiment is Fly High and i stamped that too using blue ink. To add the bling to the card i pasted a pink stone near her hair .I want to give this to her as she celebrated her first singing challenge at school on 27 November. She loves unicorns and princesses.
Thank you for stopping by
With Lots of Love and Gratitude

Christmas Tags and Coloring
Dear Friends
May Your day be filled with Blessings from the Lord
Making tags for Christmas is nice to usher in the holidays and I sure have to make a bunch of them as i am planning to go see my daughter and Grand daughter in New Zealand next month God willing.
Thank You Tracey for Your hard work and inspiration.
I made five tags amidst my work and i am super happy with the outcome.
All the tags were die cut using scrap pieces of cardstock.
For this tag i die cut a deer from a Courture creation die and adhered it to the tag base. As i was obsessed with making shaker tags i colored the deer using Colleen watercolor pencils. I used shades of brown. I stuck a tiny red color embelishment onto his nose and pasted it to the tag base using liquid glue, Then i cut a another tag and scooped out the middle leaving only a border. To that i adhered the acetate which was from a salvaged packaging. Then i put little embelishments inside and secured everything together using liquid glue. Now i know that i have to find an invisible glue if there is anything like that in the market. Lol
This is my completed tag and i was inspired by Dear Friend Lisa Henkes tag on day 8
This is also a circle shaker tag. I colored the border of the tag and pasted patterned paper presents of varying length as the background. Then i followed the same steps as mentioned above and completed the tag. But remember it is hard to pierce acetate so find a good tool. If you are good at measuring you can pierce each layer separately which is a good idea. It just came to my mind.
This is the completed shaker tag. I made a small blunder when piercing the hole but i was able to cover it up thanks to glue dots which are super sticky. I was inspired by Dear friend Lisa Henkes shaker card.
To make this card my inspiration was from Dear Angela Bodes card on Day 8. I gave it a twist because my candy canes were to the same side. I colored the two candy canes, the glass and hollies and berries using the Colleen watercolor pencils and as i am yet to buy alphabet dies i took letters from a sticker sheet and adhered them to my tag. The glass was hand drawn.
This tag was inspired by the Animal tags of Newtons Nook. It is an animal tag which has a deer with a a red nose as well as some leaves and berries and the sentiment hugs. It is from stickers.
My set of tags.
Things to remember
Always ensure that the acetate sheet is clean.
How i save time
I die cut a bunch of images in one go.(My desk is my work/craft table. so i cannot have my Cuttlebug on the table all the time.)
I stamp a set of images in one go. (So that all the stamps are cleaned in one go)
Put everything in a little tray and craft as and when i have time.
I am a total messy carfter but as my space is limited i have to keep it clean whether i like or not.Lol
Thank You for stopping by
With Loads of love and Gratitude

Beautiful Tags
The 25 days of Christmas tags
Surekha galagoda
Dear Friends
May you have a beautiful Day filled with blessings from the Lord
I wanted to take part in making tags for the 25 Days of Christmas Tags with Tracey. But work always keeps me busy sorry about it ladies.
To make this tag i was inspired by the Tag Tracey made on Day one with the word Joy.
I cut the tag using a die and using the cross to make the tag. It is a beautiful cross from Tutti designs. I die cut it twice using Red and green card stock and adhered it together for dimension. Then i tied a bow using gold ribbon and handwrite the word Joy using a black glitter pen as i didnt have any word dies. Tthis is my simple tag. It will be given to a student to use as a book tag.

Day 13,14,15,16 of the 30 Day Coloring Challenge
Dear Friends
Have a good day and May you be blessed always
I thought of doing another card for my precious little grand daughter as i had some unbranded clear stamps with me.
I stamped it using black ink on to a white board. then i colored using my Colleen water color pencils and for the middle of the tiny flowers i added a dot using a black glitter pen.
Then when looking at the girl i wanted to create a little garden scene. I created a sky using blue color ink pads from Rosie's and i cut a cloud shape from a pattern paper and adhered it to the sky. Then using green pattern paper i fussy cut to give the effect of grass. I pasted teh grass and the cloud using
The sky which i created uisng blue ink pads.
The blue ink pads and the cloud i fussy cut using a pattern paper.
Next i adhered the girl to the card using double sided foam tape as i wanted to give a little dimension. If there is a garden scene it needs a butterfly and flowers.
to create flowers i added small purple color gems and it added the bling to the card as well and adhered it to the grass. I also adhered a butterfly cut from a pattern paper using double sided foam tape. I used the red color card stock with a flowery background for the base to give a Christmassy feeling.
A close up of the card

Day 9,10,11,12 of the 30 day Coloring Challenge
Hi Friends
Have a good day and May you be blessed always
I had a unbranded clear stamp which i used to stamp this image of the angel/princess.
Then i colored it using my Colleen watercolor pencils and thanks to dear Kathy I was able to water color too. I used blue as i love blue so much. I took a lot of time to color as i was able to grab liitle time slots but i patiently colored it. I was fascinated by Kathys coloring of hair and i just had to try it.
Then i fussy cut it using my tiny scissors. I dont use that scissor for anything else.
Then i took a red piece of card stock with a flowery design and mounted the angel /princess using doule sided foam tape to give dimension.
This card will be for my little precious grand daughter who is everything to me.

First order A perfect time to craft challenge
Surekha Galagoda
This is a stationery set i made and it was my first order and it was done for a daughter of one of my school time friends. Her preference was pastel colors. So i enjoyed doing this for her.The measurements for the set was from Maymay made it and i will link it below.
https://www.maymaymadeit.com/blogs/news/stationary-box-gift-set
This is the box with the pocket for greeting cards.I added two pockets in front to insert note cards and gift tags.
This is the set of greeting cards. I made the greetiing cards using scraps of pattern paper.
this is one of the greeting cards with the accompanying envelope.
The stack of greeting cards.
The set of gift cards.
The note book i put a ribbon belly band to attach it to the front of the box.
The base of the box with the note book attached to the front. This also shows two note pads which i created with cut outs from making envelopes. I cut some beautiful flowers from a pattern paper to adorn the note books.
This is the completed box with the custome made pen. I made the pen by cutting a pattern paper and wrapping it around the carbon and closed the lid. Then i put two loops with ribbon and attached it to the base of the front of the box. you can see the lid on the side.
This is the Birthday card i made using the sweet Treats die from Pinkfresh Studio. I adhered a pattern paper which had presents as the first layer. Then the purple card was added as the next layer.I cut two layers of the base and added a pattern paper on top and adhered it to the card using double sided tape as i wanted to create dimension. I added cup cakes with double sided tape too. The sentiment i used was Happy Birthday.
I used the small flower die to adorn the gift tags.
The lid of the box slids snugly and i tied a bow with a pink ribbon to complete the gift.
Before attaching the ribbon.
The box with the pink ribbon bow.

Day 8 of the 30 Day coloring Challenge
Day 8 of the 30 day Coloring Challenge
Dear Friends
May you be blessed always
As i said dearlier i inked a batch of roses and as and when i got time i colored them. I didnt want to bore you with another card so i thought of a novel way to use the flower. I have an old diary which i scribble about crafting and includes blog names, things to buy challenges i plan to take part etc. The cover of the diary peeled off and it looked very ugly.
Then i suddenly remembered something. I dont buy mod podge from stores but make it on my own as i cannot afford it.
Method
I mix one part glue and one part water and mix ittogether to make the mod podge. I am sorry though i learnt it from a sweet crafter i dont have the link to her blog. Put glue first and then slowly add water. This is the perfect mix for tiles. If there is remaining after your project is done put it into abottle and keep for later use. Then on to that you can paste a beautiful napkin. Please remember to peel off the layers and use the pattern layer only.
So i thought why not use the same technique. When using it on books please mix one and a half parts of glue and one part water otherwise it is too runny. I applied that and then pasted the napkin. As i love blue i chose a blue colour napkin but as one layer was not sufficient i added another layer without using another layer of glue as i felt that there was enough glue to paste the second layer too. Then i smoothened it and kept to dry.
Then i brushed it with a coat of varnish using a paint brush.
The varnish i used. it was about $1.5 and you get 200 ml.
Then i adhered the blue color rose on to it and I am happy with the outcome. Now my diary doesnt look boring any more.
Thank You and Happiness always
